What's Happening in Class?

Reading

We will continue with our first Book Club. Students are placed into reading groups based on their Lexile Range that was obtained from their MAP reading test. Students will have daily reading assignments that should be completed in class. If a student needs more time to complete the assignment, it will be homework that will need to be completed by the next day.

• For those who are out this week, please email me at mtaylor@cvc.org so I can get a book and the needed papers to you to complete at home.

Students should be reading 20 min. each night.

Social Studies

This week we will continue our study of the explorers. We will understand why and how the people of the eastern and western hemispheres connected and how this changed history!

Students may have homework if they do not finish their work in class.
